TradingView launches AI Copilot, an AI assistant that works directly on your charts

TradingView has launched AI Copilot, an AI assistant built into Supercharts that both answers market questions and carries out actions on your chart, grounded in TradingView data.

AI Copilot sees what's on the chart and draws on TradingView data — quotes, indicators, financials, news, earnings, economic calendars, and Screener data — to both answer questions and act. It can switch symbols and layouts, add or remove indicators, draw levels, create alerts and watchlists, and write and apply Pine ScriptⓇ. It can also backtest and optimize an existing strategy, breaking down results like profit factor, win rate, and max drawdown to assess whether an idea holds up. Every number in its answers is grounded in TradingView data, so its responses stay aligned with what the trader sees on screen.

Analysis and action in one place

AI Copilot carries its responses through to the chart. A trader can ask for a full technical analysis of a symbol and have the levels drawn, request S&P 500 stocks with a P/E below 15 and revenue growth above 10% and get a Screener result, or describe a Pine indicator in plain language and have it generated and applied right away.

It handles the full workflow: setting up charts by description, marking up support, resistance and market structure, pulling together technicals, fundamentals, news and macro context into a single picture, building structured trading plans, and managing watchlists and alerts. As with any AI tool, AI Copilot may occasionally make mistakes, and its output is intended as analysis rather than financial advice — all market decisions remain in the trader's hands.

Availability

AI Copilot is available now as a separate add-on for every paid TradingView plan — Essential, Plus, Premium, and Ultimate — on the web and in the desktop app. The add-on renews monthly and can be canceled anytime in profile settings. AI Copilot is not yet available in the mobile app.

Getting started takes about a minute: open your Supercharts, sign in with an active paid plan (trial plans work, too), click the "AI Copilot" icon in the right-hand panel, and click "Get access" to get started.
