Moneta Markets Strengthens UAE Presence with CMA Category 5 Licence

Moneta Markets’ new regulatory milestone reinforces the broker’s long-term commitment to the UAE and its continued investment in transparent, locally established operations.

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 3 August 2026.  Moneta Markets has announced that Moneta Global Financial Services LLC, has been granted a Category 5 licence by the United Arab Emirates Capital Market Authority.

The licence represents an important milestone in Moneta Markets’ regional growth strategy and strengthens the company’s regulatory foundation within one of the world’s most dynamic and internationally connected financial centres.

For Moneta Markets’ clients, partners and stakeholders, the development provides greater transparency around the company’s local presence, the entity responsible for its authorised UAE activities and the regulatory framework within which those activities are conducted.

A Long-Term Commitment to the UAE

The UAE has become a major centre for financial services, technology and international business, attracting institutions and market participants from throughout the Middle East and around the world.

Securing the Category 5 licence forms part of Moneta Markets’ broader commitment to building a substantial and sustainable presence in the country. This includes investing in local personnel, governance, compliance capabilities and relationships with clients and partners across the region.

Moneta Markets Founder and CEO David Bily, said:

Securing our Category 5 licence is an important step forward for Moneta Markets and reflects the seriousness of our long-term commitment to the UAE.

“Trust is built through more than technology and competitive trading conditions. It also requires transparency, accountability and a willingness to invest in strong local foundations. Establishing a licensed Moneta Markets entity in the UAE demonstrates that commitment to our clients, partners and the wider market.

“The UAE continues to set a high standard for ambition, innovation and responsible financial-sector development. We are proud to strengthen our presence here and look forward to contributing to the market’s continued growth.”

The licensed entity will support Moneta Markets’ efforts to develop closer relationships within the UAE and the wider Middle East and North Africa region.

A locally established presence will enable the company to deepen its understanding of regional markets, work more closely with local stakeholders and develop its operations in line with the UAE’s regulatory expectations and business environment.

The licence also complements Moneta Markets’ broader international regulatory structure and its strategy of operating through appropriately established entities in the markets it serves.

David Bily added:

This is more than a licence announcement. It represents the next stage of our development in the region.

“We are building an operation intended to support sustainable growth, stronger local relationships and greater confidence in the Moneta Markets brand. We see considerable long-term potential in the UAE and are committed to growing here responsibly.”
