CyprusFintech.org reaches key development milestones
CyprusFintech.org, the Cyprus-based community connecting professionals and organisations across the fintech, finance and technology ecosystem, is pleased to announce that it has reached a number of key development targets across four strategic areas of activity.
CyprusFintech.org said the four initiatives represent complementary areas of its development: supporting talent, improving connectivity, bringing senior industry stakeholders together and building stronger links between education and employment.
1. Women in Fintech initiatives
Project proposals aimed at supporting women working in, entering and developing their careers within Cyprus’s fintech sector have been submitted and are currently undergoing review. The proposed initiatives are intended to contribute to greater access to professional opportunities, networking, mentorship and development for women across the sector.
2. CyprusFintech.org mobile application
The CyprusFintech.org mobile application has entered the final stages of development.
The platform is being designed to provide members of the ecosystem with a dedicated environment for professional networking and community engagement. Users will be able to connect with other professionals, participate in industry conversations and arrange their own events and meetings.
3. Invitation-only executive networking event
CyprusFintech.org is hosting a closed-door, invitation-only networking event scheduled for 12th of November, 2026.
The event will bring together senior executives and key decision-makers from across the sector, with the objective of encouraging dialogue and cooperation between firms and creating opportunities for further collaboration.
4. University of Cyprus partnership
CyprusFintech.org is developing a partnership with the University of Cyprus Career Center focused on supporting internship initiatives for 2027 and 2028.
The initiative is intended to strengthen links between students and the island’s fintech and financial services industry, giving young professionals opportunities to gain practical experience and develop connections within the sector.
