US President Trump: could have asked Putin direct questions if he was at G7

In an interview with Fox News, US President Donald Trump hit on a number of talking points regarding his stances on various US diplomatic scenarios currently at play.
Key highlights
Trump says the US military is in no way drawing down in South Korea.
Would love to see troops removed from South Korea, but not right now.
Intends to discuss with South Korea the possibility of the US being paid for the military presence in SK.
Trump says that he and North Korea's Kim Jong Un "understand each other".
In regards to the North Korean regime's oppression of its people, Trump noted that "many countries do bad".
If Putin were allowed at G7 summit, Trump could have asked him direct questions.
Believes that he would have a "good rapport" with Putin.
