Dow Futures press into a decision zone as volume flags unfinished auction [Video]

Price holds above the 4H pivot while an untested POC caps upside near 50,000.

In this MacroStructure Trading Desk update, Dow futures are analysed through a structure-first lens using the 4-hour, 1-hour, and volume profile frameworks.

Price has held above the 4-hour central pivot at 48,852 for nine consecutive sessions, maintaining a constructive structural backdrop. However, repeated rotations beneath 49,564–50,004 suggest compression rather than confirmed expansion.

Volume profile adds critical context. Most prior Points of Control from early January have already been revisited, but the January 13 POC remains untested inside the upper microband — highlighting an unfinished auction directly ahead of the current price.

Rather than forecasting direction, this video focuses on how price is responding to predefined structure, and how acceptance or rejection around key levels will shape the next phase of rotation.
