Why is TIA price up today?

Celestia price is rising sharply on Thursday as traders react to a new infrastructure integration involving Derive V3.

TIA is trading near $0.51 at the time of writing, up more than 6% over the past 24 hours. Trading volume has also increased to around $166 million, showing stronger market participation during the move.

The rally comes as Derive launches its V3 platform and selects Celestia as its data availability layer.

The integration gives Celestia a direct role in the infrastructure supporting one of the larger onchain options platforms.

Derive V3 brings new activity to Celestia

Derive completed its V3 migration on October 8.

The new architecture moves custody and settlement to Ethereum Layer 1. Order matching remains offchain, while margin and settlement are verified through zero knowledge proofs on Ethereum.

Celestia is used to publish state data for the platform.

This matters for TIA because data availability is Celestia's core product.

Celestia is designed to provide blockchain applications with a separate layer for publishing and verifying transaction data. Applications can use Ethereum or another network for settlement while relying on Celestia for data availability.

The Derive integration therefore represents direct usage of Celestia's infrastructure rather than a simple partnership announcement.

Derive has processed about $14.2 billion in options notional volume so far in 2026, nearly three times its total volume in 2025.

That gives the integration more weight for traders watching Celestia adoption.

TIA outperforms the broader crypto market

TIA's move is also notable because it comes while the wider crypto market remains relatively weak.

Celestia has gained more than 6% over the past day, while the broader market has struggled to recover from recent selling pressure.

The divergence suggests that the move is not only driven by a general market rebound.

Trading activity also increased as TIA moved higher.

The token fell toward $0.45 before recovering to around $0.51. Volume accelerated during the rebound, indicating that buyers became more active as the Derive V3 news entered the market.

The combination of a fresh fundamental catalyst and rising volume helps explain why TIA has outperformed many other altcoins.

Celestia adoption remains the main long term question

The latest move gives traders another example of Celestia being used as infrastructure by an active blockchain application.

That is important because Celestia's value proposition depends heavily on adoption of its data availability services.

The network competes in a growing market where blockchain applications can separate execution, settlement and data availability instead of relying on a single chain for all three functions.

If more trading platforms and rollups follow a similar model, demand for Celestia's infrastructure could increase.

However, one integration alone does not determine long term token value.

TIA still faces broader questions around network usage, fee generation, token supply and competition from other data availability solutions.

The Derive V3 launch provides a positive adoption signal, but sustained network activity will matter more than a short term price reaction.

Can TIA price continue higher?

TIA is currently testing the area around $0.51 after rebounding from approximately $0.45.

The $0.48 area is an important short term level to watch.

Holding above this zone would keep the recent recovery intact and could allow TIA to test the $0.55 area next. A move above $0.55 would strengthen the current bullish structure.

If TIA falls back below $0.48, the recent breakout would lose momentum and the token could revisit the $0.45 region.

For now, the main catalyst behind the move remains clear.

Derive V3 has given Celestia a new production use case at a time when traders are looking for altcoins with fresh fundamental drivers.
