Cryptocurrencies Price Prediction: Cardano, Bitcoin & Ethereum – Asian Wrap 17 August

Cardano Price Forecast: Whale selling, weak momentum put ADA at risk

Cardano (ADA) nears key support zone, trading at $0.177 on Monday after correcting over 10% the previous week. The price decline is supported by whale wallet offloading ADA tokens. Meanwhile, weakening momentum indicators and bearish derivatives metrics suggest a cautious tone among traders and hint at further losses if ADA slips below key support.

Crypto Market Overview: Bitcoin holds at $63,000 – WLD, WLFI lead gains

Bitcoin maintains a bearish near-term bias as it trades below the 50-day Exponential Moving Average (EMA) near $64,306, supported by the former rising support trendline near $64,300. From a technical perspective, Bitcoin must reclaim the short-term moving average near $64,306 to sustain a recovery toward the June 3 high at $67,516.

Top 3 Price Prediction: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple – BTC holds critical support, ETH awaits directional move, XRP weakens

Ethereum price trades at $1,892 on Monday, holding above the 50-day EMA at $1,867 but remaining capped beneath the 100-day EMA at $1,919; it has traded sideways since mid-July. The RSI near 53 hints at modest positive momentum, yet the MACD stays negative, suggesting buying pressure is tentative rather than impulsive. On the topside, initial resistance sits at the 100-day EMA around $1,919; a break there would expose the psychological horizontal barrier at $2,000 before the more strategic 200-day EMA at $2,118.
