EURUSD Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

The eurusd continues to struggle in the 1.27 to 1.28 region as sustained dollar strength (as evidenced on the USD index) drives the pair ever lower. The pair is now testing the interim platform of support in the 1.2690 region. Any break here will see a move to test the price congestion of late August in the 1.2580 region and given that the USD index is also running into congestion at this point we could see a short term bounce higher for the eurusd.

  • Hugo Venter:

Upwards movement is likely to be seen over the next week as according to our analysis we expect the pair has entered a second wave correction that is likely going to be a deep pullback.

  • ICN.com analysis team:

"The fiscal cliff uncertainty may limit upside potential in the few coming weeks; however a weekly support at 1.2665 should be taken to confirm another leg lower. We expect a resolution of the fiscal puzzle before year and accordingly the euro may rally again."

  • Ilian Yotov:

With euro-area economic conditions deteriorating, while debt crisis and "fiscal cliff" uncertainty triggers risk aversion, the EUR/USD pair could countinue lower into the $1.20's.

  • Joshua Martinez:

The EURUSD Daily time frame is bouncing off the back side of the down trend line. Expecting bullish movement.

  • Richard C. Lee:

EURUSD will be supported by falling European bond yields and further indecision by US Congressional leaders over the impending fiscal cliff.

  • Tad DeVan:

The EURUSD has begun to show signs of a bearish movement. With the Eurozone entering a 2nd recession I see this bearish trend continuing barring any significant negative news in the US.

  • Yohay Elam:

Greece was saved from an immediate default, but the big disagreements between the IMF and the EU are becoming an issue. The pair could retreat
