GBPUSD Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

Bullish moment returned to cable once again last week on the release of better than expected GDP figures which saw the pair surge back above the psychological 1.6 level with a two bar reversal on the daily chart. Provided we see a break and hold above the 1.6184 area this should provide further momentum for cable to re-test the 1.6300 region in due course.

  • Dr. S. Sivaraman:

swing and quick gain moves may be seen

  • ICN.com analysis team:

The pivotal resistance of 1.6180 should hold to protect bears.

  • Ilian Yotov:

Upbeat U.K. and global economic data could continue to keep the GBP/USD pair strategically positioned to challenge its 2012 high and possibly advance further into the $1.60's.

  • Yohay Elam:

Echoes from the superb GDP report will likely push the pound higher.
