GBPUSD Comments:

  • Anna Coulling:

Cable continues with its bullish tone following the breakout from the pennant pattern of mid August which signalled the current move higher. With little resistance ahead we can expect to see a move beyond 1.6, followed by a test of the 1.63 high of April in due course.

  • ICN.com analysis team:

The risk limit for the bearish outlook resides at 1.6055 where 76.4% Fibonacciof the wave from 1.6300 to 1.5265 exists

  • Ilian Yotov:

With the Bank of England sitting on the sidelines and not announcing additional easing measures, the GBP/USD pair looks positioned for a test of the $1.60 area.

  • Joshua Martinez:

The daily time frame is bouncing between support and resistance.

  • Yohay Elam:

Cable's rally could be limited without QE3. Assuming the situation in Europe geniuinely improves, also some of the European safe haven flows could reverse.
