The EUR/USD trades lower but within familiar ranges in another quiet Monday, having posted a daily low of 1.3382, and trading below the 1.3400 level early US session. The hourly chart shows price below a bearish 20 SMA while indicators stand directionless in negative territory, reflecting the little interest over the pair at the time being. In the 4 hours chart price found support in a flat 20 SMA around 1.3375, while indicators turned lower and approach their midlines. The immediate support stands at 1.3370 and a break below should see the pair retesting recent lows around 1.3330, albeit further range is expected at least until Asian session.

The GBP/USD presents a limited upward tone by the start of the week, with the hourly chart showing higher lows and price grinding to fresh daily highs around 1.6795 at the time being, while indicators aim higher in positive territory, bullish but without strength. In the 4 hours chart however, the bearish tone prevails with 20 SMA heading lower above current price and indicators in negative territory. A steady advance above 1.6800 may see price extending up to 1.6840, a daily descendant trend line coming from this year high, yet renewed selling pressure below 1.6770 should see price extending its decline towards the 1.6700 price zone.

Support levels: 1.6770 1.6730 1.6695

Resistance levels: 1.6800 1.6840 1.6885

The USD/JPY holds above the 102.00 level but shown little progress despite the nice recovery in Nikkei. Technically, the hourly chart shows price holding price below a still bearish 100 SMA with 200 one above it,  and indicators turning lower around their midlines. In the 4 hours chart indicators retrace from their midlines, suggesting latest recovery from 101.50 has been corrective. Nevertheless, a downward acceleration below 101.95 is required to confirm a bearish move, while the upside remains limited by 102.30/40 static resistance zone.

Support levels: 101.95 101.60 101.20

Resistance levels: 102.35 102.80 103.10
