GBP/USD
Cable is back up in good volatility. After highs around 1.5480 in the European morning, it is currently trading at 1.5435. We see a sideways trend first for today between present levels, not below 1.5400, and then more strength in the market, leading to near 1.5495.
USD/CHF
A somewhat weaker dollar in the early European trading hours is currently priced at 1.0095 against the Swiss franc. We do not expect much upside potential for today. A lower consolidation phase which reaches the 1.0050 levels is in the cards.
USD/JPY
Against the yen, the dollar showed only some weakness in the Asian trading hours today and is currently recovering a little to right now 83.70 in the European morning. We expect more of the recovery to follow today later, up to levels around 84.30.
