USDCHF Comments:

  • A. Narczewski:

The crucial 0.98 resistance was broken and the way to parity is opened although i do not expect it will be reached very soon.

  • Anna Coulling:

We can expect to see parity breached next week for the usdchf but with strong resistance in the area immediate ahead, this may signal the end of the recent bull run and a potential strong reversal.

  • Gavin Grier-Rees:

When the euro fragments there will be no point (or possibility) in the SNB maintaining the 1.2000 EUR CHF floor.

  • ICN.com analysis team:

A daily closing below 0.9680 will delay the bullishness

  • Joshua Martinez:

The USDCHF daily time frame shows the market is long over due for a bearish pull back. The market is pegged to the EURUSD and the EURUSD is showing a huge potential bullish move. This will force the USDCHF to search for a deeper bear move.

  • Malik Khan:

The consumer price index fell for a fourth consecutive month in January on a year over year comparison, with the pace of decline accelerating to0.8% year on year. If deflationary pressures intensify over the coming months, the SNB will likely opt to raise the currency floor.

  • Yohay Elam:

USD/CHF remains a mirror of EUR/USD, as the SNB still manages to hold the peg despite the growing pressures. The levee could break one day, but so far it's holding on nicely.
