Advance-declines were flat and slightly lower on both the New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq. Up/down volume was 22 to 19 negative on New York, with 4 1/4 billion shares traded. The Nasdaq traded 1.9 billion shares and had a 10 to 9 positive volume ratio.

TheTechTrader.com board was led by Priceline Inc. (PCLN), up 19.90 to 1084.87, Google Inc. (GOOG), trading over 800.00 in after hours, was up 9.05 to 752.00, and Netflix, Inc. (NFLX) up 2.25 to 4.09, but Apple Inc. (AAPL) gave back 91 cents to 96.43, and Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN) lost a whopping 12.19 to 574.81.

Tesla Motors, Inc. (TSLA) jumped 5.74 to 196.94, but Baidu, Inc. (BIDU) dropped 2.17 to 161.10. Facebook, Inc. (FB) ran straight up at the opening and stayed up all day, gaining 2.88 to 115.09, a new all-time high.

In addition, Bristol-Myers Squibb Company (BMY) was down 1.34 top 60.82, in a soft, biopharmaceutical sector.

Intrexon Corporation (XON), which we put a swing on today, was up 2.43 to 31.57, Nevro Corp. (NVRO) up 1.50 to 63.29, and Mobileye N.V. (MBLY) up 1.57 to 28.70.

Checking the TheTechTrader.com percent-gain leaderboard, Moneygram International Inc. (MGI) popped 88 cents to 6.18, or 17%, on 1.2 million shares. TrovaGene, Inc. (TROV) advanced 55 cents to 4.18, or 15%, on 3.7 million shares.

Eyegate Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (EYEG) led the way today, up 1.82 to 3.52, or 111%, on 6.5 million shares, 4600% more volume than average, and is trading at 4.40 in after hours.

Aquinox Pharmaceuticals Inc. (AQXP) had an interesting day, up 2.08 to 12.57, or 20%.

The VelocityShares 3x Inv Natural Gas ETN (DGAZ) ran 2.61 to 14.47, or 22%, on 4.5 million shares.
The VelocityShares 3x Inverse Crude Oil ETN (DWTI) jumped 50.02 to 294.10, or 21%. The ProShares UltraShort Bloomberg Crude Oil (SCO) climbed 21.60 to 178.40, or 14%.

Stepping back and reviewing the hourly chart patterns, after an early dip, the indices had a 5-wave advance, then a 3-wave corrective pullback midsession, and then another 5-wave advance ensued before the close. In the last half-hour they backed off and closed mixed on the day.
