The Bank of England has decided to leave its official bank rate unchanged at 0.5% as well as to maintain its bond buying program at GBP200 billion., although the Bank has affirmed its intention to make further bond purchases if needed.

RBA statement: modest upgrade to CPI and GDP forecast

The AUD/USD is basically unchanged but still hanging on to the gains from the early part of the session. The modest adjustments to CPI and GDP forecasts would normally increase the prospects of a 25 bps hike at the next meeting.
