Cryptocurrencies Price Prediction: Bitcoin, Ripple & Mantle — Asian Wrap 20 August
|Top 3 Price Prediction: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple – BTC, ETH and XRP key supports break as correction deepens
Bitcoin price extended the decline, closing below $116,300 as the week started, and on Tuesday, it closed below an ascending trendline drawn by connecting multiple lows since early April. During the same period, BTC also closed below the 50-day EMA at $114,903. At the time of writing on Wednesday, it recovers slightly at around $113,400. If BTC continues its pullback, it could extend losses toward its next support level at $111,980.
XRP Price Forecast: Large holders offload 460 million tokens as Powell's speech approaches
XRP saw a further decline on Tuesday, plunging by 6% as investors moved to the sidelines ahead of Powell's speech at Jackson Hole on Friday. In the past six days, its price has registered a 13% loss. The price decline has seen large-scale investors with a balance of 10-100 million XRP tokens trim their holdings by about 460 million XRP over the past week. On the contrary, wallets holding 1-10 million XRP (smaller whales) added 130 million more tokens to their collective balance. This shows mixed expectations among large XRP holders.
Crypto Gainers Today: OKB, Mantle, and MemeCore drive gains amid market volatility
Mantle trades at $1.35 at the time of writing on Wednesday, upholding the 4.30% gains from the previous day. MNT advances into its third consecutive bullish week, accounting for more than 80% gains so far in August. The uptrend in Mantle targets the $1.41 pivot point, which is also the annual high, from early January. A clean weekly close above this level could drive the rally to its record high of $1.51.
