UK: Government said not to expect breakthrough at Cox-Barnier meeting

The British pound is now suffering heavy losses against its major rivals following reports of the British government not expecting a breakthrough at today's meeting between Attorney General Fox and the EU's Chief Brexit Negotiator Michel Barnier. Furthermore, news outlets are claiming that the UK government does not plan to publish no-deal tariffs before the meaningful vote. At the moment, the GBP/USD pair is trading at its lowest level since February 26, losing 0.33% on the day at 1.3145.
