EUR futures: deeper pullbacks lost momentum

In light of preliminary figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, investors added almost 200 contracts to their open interest positions on Thursday vs. Friday’s final 485,045 contracts. Volume, instead, increased by around 38.6K contracts.

EUR/USD holding on to 1.1500

Yesterday’s doji-like candle in EUR/USD has been accompanied by a small up tick in open interest and a strong drop in volume. In the near term, the outlook on the pair remains bearish, although the 1.1500neighbourhood has proven to be a formidable area of contention so far.
