Brexit: France, Spain and Belgium put no deal back on table at EU27 ambassadors' meeting

According to The Guardian's Brussels Bureau Chief Daniel Boffey, France, Spain, and Belgium put no deal back on the table at today's EU27 ambassadors' meeting.

"Saw nothing in Theresa May's letter to justify a long extension. The summit on Wednesday looks to be very difficult," Boffey explained in a Twitter post.

Meanwhile, other news outlets claimed that the Labour party was disappointed because the government has not offered any real compromise to the Brexit deal.

These latest headlines seem to be weighing on the British pound, dragging the GBP/USD pair below the 1.30 mark.
