UPGRADEExxon Mobil (XOM) reported an earnings and revenue beat for the fourth quarter. The largest public oil company in the US reported normalized earnings per share (EPS) of $2.05 compared with average Wall Street forecasts for $1.94. Revenue just surpassed expectations at just under $85 billion compared with a forecast for $84.6 billion.
The company said it would continue its $10 billion share repurchase plan over the next two years. Shares are trading up 1.5% at $77.07 in Tuesday's premarket.
