Week Ahead Commodity Report: Gold, Silver & Oil Price Forecast (Video)

Gold vs Turkish Lirya (XAUTRY) surged 19% on Friday after U.S. President Donald Trump intensified his spat with Turkey by imposing higher tariffs on metal imports.

The crisis engulfing Turkey's lira boosted demand for bullion as a safe investment while at the same time supporting the U.S. dollar.

Crude oil prices rose more than 1% on Friday as U.S. sanctions against Iran looked set to tighten supply whilst hedge funds and money managers cut their bullish positions on U.S. crude to the lowest level since June.
