US Sec. of State Pompeo: US does not seek war with Iran – BBC

The US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo crossed the wires via BBC while speaking in Russia during early Wednesday.

The news report quotes Secretary Pompeo as he said that the United States does not seek a war with Iran, amid rapidly growing tensions between the two countries.

However, there was no mercy for Iran as the news report said that Mr. Pompeo also mentioned, "We have also made clear to the Iranians that if American interests are attacked, we will most certainly respond in an appropriate fashion."

It was further mentioned in the report that Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has also said there will be no war with the US.
