US midterm elections: FiveThirtyEight shows 53.8% probability of Democrats winning House
|According to FiveThirtyEight, Democrats now have a 53.8% chance of winning the control of the House compared to earlier forecast of 90%. The initial market reaction to this development allowed the greenback to gather strength against its rivals with the US Dollar Index rallying toward mid-96s. As of writing, the index was up 0.06% on the day at 96.33.
