US House passes $13.6bln for Ukraine in broad spending bill
|A majority of the US House of Representatives voted in favor of a mammoth bill to aid Ukraine and fund the US gov't agencies through September 30, per Reuters.
US House approves $13.6 bln in the Ukraine aid as part of legislation to fund the federal gov't through Sept. 30.
Meanwhile, the House also voted 414 – 17 to approve the bill to ban purchase of Russian oil and energy sources.
Market reaction
The US dollar index is unfazed by the above announcement, as it consolidates the renewed upside near 98.20, up 0.22% on the day.
