UK Labour’s Starmer: Legislation must be in plan to stop no-deal Brexit

The UK opposition Labour party Brexit Spokesman Keir Starmer recently crossed the wires, via Reuters, saying that legislation must be in plan to stop no-deal Brexit.

According to PoliticsHome.com editor, Kevin Schofield, “Starmer gently killing off Corbyn's call for a vote of no confidence, here. Seems to be backing Parliament passing legislation forcing Johnson to extend Article 50 instead.”

This comes ahead of the Opposition leaders’ meeting to plan the next moves to prevent a no-deal Brexit outcome.

The pound is offered some support by the above comments, lifting GBP/USD back towards the 1.2250 level, up 0.20% on the day.
