UK in talks to join EU's coronavirus vaccine scheme – Financial Times

The United Kingdom (UK) is in talks with the European Union (EU) to join the EU's coronavirus scheme, the Financial Times reported on Friday, citing UK officials familiar with the matter.

Earlier in the day, the European Commission announced that it had granted conditional approval for the use of Gilead Sciences' Remdesivir in COVID-19 treatment.

Market reaction
