Trump to remove US National Security Adviser McMaster

The news is crossing the wires via Washington Post that US President Trump has fired H.R. McMaster as his national security adviser and is actively discussing potential replacements.

A few days ago, Trump fired Rex Tillerson, the secretary of state and appointed his close ally, CIA Director Mike Pompeo, in the job. Also, he named conservative TV analyst Larry Kudlow as his new economic adviser.

The president is enjoying the process of assessing his team and making changes, tightening his inner circle to those he considers survivors and who respect his unconventional style, one senior White House official said, according to Washington Post.

However, markets are not enjoying the turmoil in Washington. Once again, the Japanese Yen is pushing higher in Asia, taking the USD/JPY pair below 106.00.
