Gold Futures: Extra gains not ruled out

According to preliminary figures from CME Group for Gold futures markets, open interest went up by around 9.6K contracts, reaching the second build in a row. Volume followed suit and resumed the upside by nearly 32K contracts.

Gold seen challenging YTD peaks

The positive performance of prices of the ounce troy of Gold on Tuesday was on the back of rising open interest and volume, opening the door to a probable continuation of the uptrend in the short-term horizon.
