EUR futures: potential correction lower

In light of preliminary figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, investors added more than 7.3K contracts to their open interest positions on Friday from Thursday’s final 526,728 contracts. Volume, instead, dropped by 32.7K contracts after four consecutive builds.

EUR/USD upside appears limited

EUR/USD is reverting four consecutive daily advances at the beginning of the week. Friday’s strong up move was on the back of another uptick in open interest and quite a moderate drop in volume. That said, despite further upside is not ruled out in the near term, the important drop in volume could limit it somewhat.
