EUR futures: neutral/bullish near term

In light of preliminary figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, investors added almost 1.5K contracts to their open interest on Friday from Thursday’s final 529,804 contracts. Volume, instead, dropped markedly by nearly 54.4K contracts, partially reverting the previous sharp build.

EUR/USD faces strong resistance in the low-1.1400s

EUR/USD charted the largest single day advance on Friday since late September. The small build in open interest could allow for the continuation of the up move, although the significant pullback in volume should prompt some caution against this view.
