EUR futures: extra consolidation stays on the cards

In light of flash figures for EUR futures markets from CME Group, investors added more than 8K contracts to their open interest positions on Friday from Thursday’s final 534,337 contracts. Volume, instead, shrunk by around 14K contracts.

EUR/USD’s indecisive performance on Friday was amidst the continuation of choppy open interest and volume, all leaving the scenario of further consolidation unchanged, at least in the short-term horizon.
