EUR futures: consolidative near term

According to CME Group’s flash data for EUR futures markets, open interest rose by nearly 2.7K contracts on Monday from Friday’s final 481,918 contracts. On th opposite side, volume decreased significantly by around 71.3K contracts.

EUR/USD odds for further decline have diminished

EUR/USD is consolidating in the lower bound of the recent range around the 1.1500 neighbourhood. Yesterday’s down move was on the back of rising open interest and shrinking volume, noting the further range bound remains in the pipeline while the 1.1460 area emerges as a strong support for the time being.
