ECB’s de Cos: No interest rate increase expected in 2022

European Central Bank (ECB) Governing Council member and Spanish central bank chief Pablo Hernandez de Cos said Thursday that he doesn’t expect any interest rate hike this year.

Last month, de Cos said that "there are no conditions to raise rates in 2022,” adding that the ECB will ensure that monetary policy will continue to be expansionary.”
