ECB asks Deutsche Bank to gauge investment banking exit costs: source - Reuters

The European Central Bank (ECB) has asked Deutsche Bank, Germany's biggest lender, to calculate the financial effects of winding down its investment banking operations, a source told Reuters on Sunday.

Deutsche Bank has called it a routine exercise while the ECB has declined to comment. Meanwhile, the EUR/USD pair is flat-lined around 1.2340 in Asia.

The common currency may run into offers if the Deutsche Bank shares drop.
