Brexit: Speaker Bercow continues opposing voting on an unchanged Brexit deal, GBP/USD awaits indicative votes

The Speaker of the UK Parliament John Bercow has restated his statement from last week rejecting another vote on the exact same Brexit deal. The government considered bringing the Brexit deal to a third Meaningful Vote either on Thursday or on Friday.

UK PM Theresa May will have to show that there was a significant change to the motion. He asked the clerks to block workarounds to his ruling using the "notwithstanding" motion. There may be other workarounds.

The UK Parliament is now debating a series of eight indicative votes for alternative measures.

GBP/USD continues trading above 1.3200, trading choppily, but in a limited range.

PM May will address her party members later today.
