The Day So Far

When reviewing the weekend news this morning the most surprising thing I found was the market’s renewed interest in the Dutch election. It would appear that given the obsession with the Fed’s March hike and the possibility of a Le Pen win the market had become someone what complacent about the close proximity of the election and with only two more days until the voting booths open traders interest has begun to perk up with the Dutch/German 10-yr yield spread widening this morning.
