Fed refocus as monetary matters once again

Markets moved once again on Yellen’s testimony and the data. Is the Fed taking the reins once again after a month of Trump in office?  We discuss where the President has more impact and where the Fed makes or breaks markets.

  1. Trump tweets and impact: Time is passing by and infrastructure spending has disappeared. The phenomenal tax plan is keeping markets optimistic as well as deregulation, but this is not enough for the dollar.

  2. Fed refocus: The economy is doing well according to retail sales, inflation and housing data. And Yellen is more optimistic, but can we expect a hike in March? We discuss.
