UK's Hunt: It is in both parties' interest to resolve Brexit

While speaking at a Wall Street Journal Conference, British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said that it was in both parties' interest to reach a Brexit deal as the failure to do so would cause them to be crucified at a general election, as reported by Reuters.

Commenting on the possibility of a second referendum or a general election, "I think you can never discount any of these potential outcomes. But I think a general election and a second referendum are my least likely outcomes because Brexit divides all the parties," Hunt stated.

Regarding a no-deal outcome, Hunt said that parliament was not willing to consider no-deal as a serious option.
