Analysts at UOB note that this week’s US economic docket is relatively light with the data releases that are focused on manufacturing and will also encompass housing sectors.

Key Quotes:

"June import price data on Tuesday may be worth a look with Yellen having pointing to recent gains as reason not to be too concerned about inflation weakness.

We also receive July NAHB homebuilder’s data on Tuesday.

On Wednesday June housing starts and permits will be released.

On Thursday, the Philadelphia Fed’s manufacturing survey for July will provide a check on today’s New York manufacturing survey.
