Riksbank likely to hold its key policy rate at -0.50% - TDS

Analysts at TD Securities expect a relatively straightforward rate decision, with the Riksbank holding its key policy rate at -0.50%.

Key Quotes

“The Executive Board is likely to keep its assessment that the key policy rate will rise by 25bps at either its December or February meeting, without giving further fine-tuning to this guidance.”

“Recent core inflation data came in on top of the Riksbank's forecast, suggesting little need to change the language around their policy guidance. The currency, while slightly stronger than at the September meeting, remains well within its recent 6-month band.”
