Natural Gas Futures: Scope for extra gains

CME Group’s advanced figures for Natural Gas futures markets noted open interest reversed two consecutive daily pullbacks and increased by around 13.7K contracts on Monday. In the same line, volume rose sharply by around 265.3K contracts following three pullbacks in a row.

The positive start of the week for Natural Gas prices was in tandem with increasing open interest and volume, opening the door for the continuation of the ongoing rebound to, initially, the key barrier at the $2,00 level per MMBtu.
