N. Korea leader visits China after warning of alternate path to US talks – Reuters

The North Korean and Chinese state media confirmed early Tuesday, the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un is visiting China at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Xinhua, China’s state run news agency, reported that Kim is in China from January 7th – 10th.

The North Korean leader is due to meeting his Chinese counterpart Xi. This comes only days after warning he may take an alternative path if the US does not ease sanctions and pressure on his isolated country, Reuters reports.
