Japan’s Aso to not attend G20 summit – Kyodo

Japan’s news agency, Kyodo reports that the Japanese Finance Minister Aso will not attend the G20 meeting next week.

This comments after Japan’s Vice Minister of Finance and International Affairs, Masatsugu Asakawa said earlier this week that they are aiming for Aso to attend the G20 meeting. But the final decision on whether or not Aso should go to the G20 meeting will depend on the National Diet.

The G20 meeting takes place on 19-20 March in Buenos Aires.
