Japan PM Abe could head to North Korea for a summit - Japan Press

As reported by Japanese news outlet Yomiuri, a division of the widely-respected nation newspaper The Asahi Shimbun, Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe could be open to holding a summit with North Korea's Kim Jong Un.

PM Abe is apparently considering a meeting with Kim, and it's possible that the PM could head to  Pyongyang in August for a one-on-one meeting with North Korea's leader in a Japan-Korea summit.

North Korea has been holding meetings with several notable countries, including the US and at least two separate meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping.
