In a statement released on Friday, Iran National Tanker company denied reports it claimed missiles struck the Iranian tanker.

The tanker company now backtracked and said that the missiles that hit the tanker were not from Saudi, according to some media reports.

Oil prices appear to stall the upside on the above headlines, but still holds the latest gains on trade optimism and rising geopolitical tensions.
