France proposes EU recovery fund worth at least 1-2% of EU GNI – Reuters

According to a document seen by Reuters, France proposes the European Union (EU) recovery fund worth at least 1-2% of the EU Gross National Income (GNI) per year over the next three years to provide the EU budget with extra 150-300 bln euros a year in 2021-23.

Further, the document read: “France proposes one-off bonds issuance by European Commission to finance fund, money to be spent through a mix of grants via the EU budget and loans with a very long maturity,” Reuters reports.

EUR/USD range play intact

EUR/USD remains little affected by the above headlines, as it keeps its range trade intact below 1.0850 ahead of the US NFP release.
