Fed's Kaplan now crossing the wires: expects 3 rate hikes 2018

After some comments swooping on from his associates, (Fed speak: Bostic and Kashkari making key comments), Fed's Kaplan has been crossing the wires as well while repeating view that he expects 3 rate hikes this year and more next year.

  • Fed Kaplan says he does not want to create an inversion in the yield curve.
  • Fed’s Kaplan says he does not see inflation running away even though we will see wage pressures.
  • Fed's Kaplan says cannot cut immigration and also grow GDP and workforce.
