|Analysts at UOB Group noted that the Fed released its latest Beige Book report yesterday which still showed the conundrum between improving US labor situation and missing inflation.

"The report noted that most districts saw modest to moderate gains in months ahead with wage pressures noted among low and high skilled jobs, but inflation described as moderate in most districts. Employment increases maintained a “modest to moderate” pace while prices “continued to rise modestly in the majority of districts.”"
