EUR/GBP clocks 2-year high, Brexit a done deal

EUR/GBP cross clocked a 2-year high of 0.8216 after speculation gathered pace that Brexit is pretty much a done deal.

The cross currently trades around 0.8155. GBP has been smashed across the board. The latest wave of selling hit the markets after Birmingham voted in favor of ‘leave’.

This was followed by BBC’s Brexit victory call, which convinced markets that UK is set to leave EU.
