EU warns Britain of too much optimism over ‘red lines’ - Report

According to a news report, published by the Evening Standard, the EU officials and senior political sources warned that reports of a major shift in the EU’s Brexit strategy are over-exaggerated.

Key points:

   •  UK officials are “misreading” upbeat statements from Brussels, Paris and Berlin.
   •  The bloc has not changed its mind about Chequers, it was stressed.
   •  The Brits are probably hoping we will change our red lines. This will not happen.
